What is Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) International Graduate Stream ?

The NSNP International Graduate Stream is a pathway for recent graduates from recognized Nova Scotia post-secondary institutions to apply for permanent residency in Canada. It’s designed to retain skilled international graduates who have a job offer from a Nova Scotia employer in a field related to their studies.

Eligibility?

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have completed at least two academic years of full-time study at a recognized post-secondary institution in Nova Scotia.
  • Have graduated within three years of the application date.
  • Have a full-time, permanent job offer from a Nova Scotia employer in a skilled occupation (NOC TEER categories 0, 1, 2, or 3) that aligns with your field of study.
  • Have a valid Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
  • Demonstrate sufficient funds to settle in Nova Scotia.
  • Demonstrate a level of language proficiency in English or French (Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 in English or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) 7 in French).
