German Consulate Mumbai – Business & Fair Visa Appointments<\/span><\/h1>\n


\nEffective from 24th February 2025, applicants seeking \u201cUrgent Business\u201d and \u201cUrgent Trade Fair\u201d appointments at the VFS visa application centre, which will be processed at the \u201cGerman consulate Mumbai<\/a><\/span>,\u201d to the following criteria:<\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants scheduling appointments under the \u201cUrgent Business\u201d and \u201cUrgent Trade Fair<\/a><\/span>\u201d categories should ensure their travel is within 4 weeks from the appointment date. If not, the application cannot be classified as urgent and must be submitted under the standard business or trade fair categories.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. If your trip’s purpose is a business meeting, training, conference, guest scientist, work, or paper presentation, you may book under \u201curgent business.\u201d For Trade Fair Exhibitors and visitors, appointments can be made under \u201ctrade fair urgent.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. If you book an appointment under \u201cUrgent Business\u201d but intend to attend a trade fair, visit, tourism, or any other purpose not specified, your appointment will be deemed cancelled and void upon your arrival at VFS. You will need to re-apply under the appropriate category.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Similarly, if you book an appointment under \u201cUrgent Trade Fair\u201d but actually plan to go for business, visit, tourism, or any other unspecified reason, your appointment will also be considered cancelled and void. You will then have to re-apply under the correct category.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Please note that no additional applications from family members will be accepted under this category. This provision is strictly for business and trade fair travelers.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Applying under the \u201curgent business\u201d and \u201cUrgent Trade Fair\u201d categories does not guarantee a fast-track visa process; it simply prioritizes appointments for business travelers.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Processing time :<\/strong> The average processing time can take up to 15 days.<\/span><\/p>\n
