Consular officers can choose to waive the interview for certain applicants based on the following categories from <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.federpath.com\">U.S. law:<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1. Applicants under specific visa types like A-1, A-2, C-3 (except for some workers), G-1 to G-4, NATO-1 to NATO-6, or TECRO E-1.<br \/>\n2. Applicants applying for diplomatic or official visas.<br \/>\n3. Applicants who had the same type of visa before, which expired less than 12 months ago.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>To be eligible for an interview waiver, <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@Federpathconsultant\" rel=\"noopener\">applicants<\/a><\/span> must meet these conditions:<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>&#8211; Apply in their country of citizenship or residence.<br \/>\n&#8211; Have never had a visa refusal (unless it was waived or fixed).<br \/>\n&#8211; Have no visible issues or reasons they would be ineligible.<\/p>\n<p>Even with these rules, consular officers may still ask for an in-person interview in certain cases or due to local conditions.
