At FederPath Consultants<\/strong>, we think the way the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS)<\/strong> is being introduced is smart. By doing it step by step, the EU is making it easier for travelers to adjust without sudden problems.<\/p>\n

Our Thoughts on the ETIAS Rollout<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  1. A Smooth Start<\/strong>
    \nThe first six months<\/strong> after ETIAS launches will be a trial period. Travelers can still enter the EU even if they haven\u2019t applied for ETIAS yet, as long as they meet other entry rules. This gives people time to learn about the new system and apply without stress.<\/li>\n
  2. A Second Chance with the Grace Period<\/strong>
    \nAfter the first phase, a grace period<\/strong> begins. During this time, travelers must have<\/strong> ETIAS to enter the EU. But there\u2019s one exception<\/strong>: If it\u2019s your first time traveling to the <\/strong>EU<\/a><\/span> since the transitional period ended<\/strong>, you can still enter without ETIAS if you meet other requirements. Everyone else will need it to travel.<\/li>\n
  3. No Rush \u2013 ETIAS Comes After EES<\/strong>
    \nThe EU will only start ETIAS a few months after<\/strong> the Entry\/Exit System (EES)<\/strong> is in place. Since EES has been delayed, ETIAS probably won\u2019t be needed until late 2025 or early 2026<\/strong>. This gives travelers plenty of time to prepare.<\/li>\n
  4. Easy and Affordable<\/strong>
    \nETIAS will cost just \u20ac7 and will be valid for three years<\/strong>. The application will be online and     through<\/a> a mobile app, making it fast and simple.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
